Sunday 7/22/12

Bench: Warm up with rotator exercises. Bar x10, with mini's x10, 105x5, 130x5, 155x5. Ram 225x5, 255x3. Shirt Katana Extreme 3B 315x3, 2B 325x3, 1B 335x1, to chest 335 dumped, to chest 345 good touch no lift. Now I know what it takes to touch, just can't press it yet. Shirt felt better today as the 335 to one board went well. I washed it in cold water and it seems to be loosening up a bit.

Dead lift: 135x5, 165x5, 205x5, 245x5, 265x5, 310x5, 350x8. Don't know how long it will last but I'm still setting rep pr's on the last set.

Squat: Raw with knee sleeves and wrist wraps. Bar x5, 160x5, 205x5, 245x5, 305x5, add belt 345x3, 385x2. Glute ham machine 10x3sets.

Bench: Super set pull ups with bench warmups 5,6,8,9,6. Bar x10, with mini's x10, 105x5, 135x5, 160x5, 200x5, 225x3, 250x2, 260x1.

Thanks Lance, glad you're back! My training is going okay. Dead is moving up a little which is encouraging but squat and bench are a struggle. I think I might train raw for awhile, maybe even going raw the next meet. I do like using a bench shirt and dead lift suit so I'll probably change my mind again....lol

Light 5-3-1 day

Squat: Bar x5, 160x5, 205x5, 245x5. Glute ham machine 5 sets.

Bench: Pull ups super set with bench warmups 5,6,7,8,7. Bar x10, with mini's x10, 105x5, 135x5, 160x5. Ram 225x5, 250x5. I work in the shirt during light week. Super Katana Extreme 3B 325x3, 2B 345x2, 1B 355x1. Too chest 340x1, guys said it was a good lift but I have my doubts with strict judging. 350x1, better touch and pause but I couldn't press it...lol. This is a crazy shirt. I can't believe the IPF would approve it.

Decline bench: Barx10, 125x5, 155x5, 185x5, 200x5, 235x5, 265x3. Was supposed to get at least 5 on the last set. Going to have to cut back on the weight.

Wednesday 8/29/12

Dead lift: 135x5, 170x5, 210x5, 250x5, 275x5, 315x5, 355x8. Reverse hyper 10x2sets. Weighted pullups 5x2sets.
Still setting PR's on the last set. Was too pooped to do more than 2 sets on the reverse hypers and pullups.

Friday 9/14/12

Light 5-3-1 squat day: Bar x5, 170x5, 210x5, 250x5. Glute ham raise 8x3sets.

Light 5-3-1 bench: Super set with pullups 5,5,5,5. Bar x10, with mini's x10, 110x5, 135x5, 160x5.

Worked out at home Friday so I could golf Saturday. My round Saturday reaffirmed why I don't golf much anymore.

Sunday 9/16/12

Shirted bench: Warm up bar x10, 135x5, 135x5, 185x5. Ram 225x5. Super Katana 3 Board 315x3, 335x2, 2 board 335x2, 1 Board 335x1. To chest 335x1 good. Might of touched a tad low but press was good. Maybe this shirt is finally breaking in where I can press what it takes to touch.

Decline Bench: Bar x10, 120x5, 155x5, 185x5, 215x3, 235x3 (a miss load with a 10 on the right side only. I said 245 and the new guy put 2 45's on the left side...lol), 245x3, 275x3. Cable rows 10x3sets.

Wednesday 10/3/12

Dead Lift: 135x5, 170x5, 215x5, 255x5, first 4 sets done off a 2x12. 300x3, 340x3, 385x4. Everything felt heavy.

Three more weeks until Lance's meet. I hope to PR in the dead lift in a suit with at least 210KG.

Saturday 10/6/12

Squat: Bar x5, 170x5, 210x5, 250x5, 315x5, 355x3. Passed on 400x1 because there was no one to spot.
GHR 10,10,8. On the 9th rep of the third set my right hamstring popped. Ouch!!! Sitting on ice now. There is
no blood so I'm hoping it not a tear. Meet is in 3 weeks and dead was going real well....bummer.

Bench: Warm up with rotator exercises. Pull ups super set with bench warm ups 6,7,7,6. Bar x10, mini's x10, 110x5,

Saturday 10/13/12

Squat: Bar x5, 170x5x3 sets. The hamstring is worse than I thought but getting better. I did bleed out and sore for most of the week.

Dead: 135x5x3sets. Dead lift is out for Lance's meet, bench only.

Bench: Warm up with rotator exercises. Pull ups super set with bench warm ups 6,6,6,7. Bar x10, mini's x10, 110x5, 140x5, 165x5. Ram 225x3, 245x3, 275x3. Shirt Fury NXG size 44. The Super Katana is too much for me right now. 3B 275x3, 2B 295x3, 1B 305x2, To chest 315x1, 325x1, 305x2. 305 and 315 no problem, 325 butt up a little.
