Sledge Hammer: interval of 20 seconds swing with 10 seconds rest. total of 8 intervals. This is fast to get done and is a hell of a work out. Next week I plan on doing two intervals.

Rotator cuff prehab and standing abs.

Haven't posted here in a while, sorry about that. Things have been progressing nicely. My hamstring is good. I was able to squat 445x2 +90 lbs chain this week as well as pull 535x2 off a two inch box without my belt. Very happy with the progress.

Set my numbers to high today on the bench and the three grip press. Next week I need to drop it down a bit. Other than that, it felt good.
3 count pause bench

320x2, 340x1, 360x1 (failed #2), 340x2, 320x2

Overhead press
95x5, 135x5, 155x5

Three board, three grips, 3 reps per grip
275, 285, 295 (3x3x1, failed on close grip after 1 rep)

25 minutesTreadmill, full incline

Squat

485x1, 515x1, 535x1@9

Snatch Grip SLDL

225x5, 315x5, 405x5@9

Not a PR but very happy with this squat. This is the most weight I have done since my hamstring injury back in August. My form was on and my cue's were working. It felt very good, and I cannot wait to get in and do it again!! 6 weeks out from my next meet, looking like I might have a good showing.

One other great thing, Matt hit a 300 lb bench this morning. First time in 5-6 years and much stronger than before.

Bench

315x1,345x1,365x1, 380x1@11, 315x5@9

Paz Press 3 board 3x3x3

265, 275, 285

Close grip lat pull downs

170x8, 190x8, 210x8

A bit frustrated by the bench today. I just could not get set up correctly. Each time I got under the bar something did not feel right, that is until I did the down set of 315x5. I felt like I could have done it for 7 reps. If I had gotten set up like I did for that set, I would have gotten the 380. I am not going to let it concern me though, I am just going to press on.

Yup, if there is anything that lifting has taught me, don't get caught up in one bad day.

Did a deadlift test today and got upto 585x1@10. It was slow and I was shaking all the way up, but I got it. Not a PR at all, but by far the most weight I have done since the hamstring injury. Also very happy with myself as at 455 I felt like I tweaked my back but I decided to keep lifting rather than quit. Glad I did.

Good morings upto 275x5

DB side bends 3x(90x10)

Standing abs

3 cnt pause bench

295x3, 315x3, 335x3, 325x2

JM press

4x(95x8), 135x8

curls for the girls

Today was very relaxed (maybe even lazy). The benching went well, but then we got into a 30 minute discussion of how to properly do the JM press. Good news is that I was right! Bad news is that it took 30 minutes.
